Ayrshire / Arran / Oban / Stirling / Falkirk and Beyond
Introducing our exciting new project! After the success of our first four books, founder James Alexander Gaffney is launching a fresh adventure—drawing inspiration from the beautiful locations we visit and the ideas shared by our social media supporters.
This new series will feature magical adventures set in stunning Scottish locales, with stories written by James and enriched by the creativity and insights of our community. We plan to incorporate local dialects, especially Scottish slang, to bring an authentic touch to every tale.
We need your help!
Share your ideas, knowledge of special places, and stories with us. Help us spread the word by sharing on your social media channels. Together, we’ll create a magical journey that everyone can enjoy!

Please enter your email in the message box if you would like to contact us or would like a reply to your message :)
Our first characters include:
- Docken– a magical fairy
- Angus – a courageous mischievous fairy (named after TikTok creator Claire’s son)
We’re excited to get started and look forward to connecting with many of you along the way.
Here we go— and here we grow!

"Another suggestion is to find Clootie Wells around Ayrshire, if any. These were places to ask for healing."
"Can you make fairies or mermaids named after her and her best friend"
"My son started a charity aged 11 and is now 16, to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes which he has lived with since 4. He was a pride of Scotland winner last year and truly inspires others. He has a looooong story to tell but it’s how to turn adversity into positivity. We are based in Cumnock, Ayrshire"
Barrmill Village Fairy Trail

Barrmill is a village you'd easily blink and not see whilst enroute to another destination.

Take a walk along the railway line and road to Dusk Water. You may encounter Druids and witches on your path.
